The project implementation was started on January 1st, 2008. The schedule of implementation has been divided into separate steps – preparatory, investment (infrastructure) and starting. At present, the project is in the preparatory phase, which will be ended by the Decision of the Regulatory Authority of OP R&DI on the allocation of funds for project BIOCEV. The expected time of closing the preparatory phase is the end of 2010. This will be followed by the investment phase, which according to the time schedule will be closed by the final building approval. Then, the starting operation phase will finally complete the project implementation.
Project milestones
EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment)
On July 23, 2009, declaratory proceedings were completed and a legitimate declaratory protocol was issued.
Zoning and planning decision
On December 29, 2009, the project obtained the zoning and planning decision, which came into legal force on January 30, 2010.
Building authorization
Issuing of the building authorization for project BIOCEV is expected in July 2010.
Submission of the application to the European Commission

Decision of the European Commission on the project funding
According to the recent estimations of the Ministry of Education CR, the Decision should be issued by the end 2010/beginning 2011.
Starting of construction works
Construction works on the research centre should start immediately after obtaining the issue of positive decision on allocation of European funds, in the first quarter of 2011.
